The curious case of the intelligant American.

Rather odd is it not. Americans seem to think it is cool to be stupid. Oh the idiocricy of it all! The other day I was at school and sure enough someone said that it was "dumb to be smart". I dare say that sounds a tick off. Unfortunately that seems to be the case. As America keeps pushing along like the little engine that could (except we are red, white, and blue) it's fallowing cars full of goodies seem to be sadly depleted of all those shiny toys that children love. Instead of shiny toys and yummy candies the cars are mostly full of dull pinwheels and eggplants. As delicious and fun as that sounds I think I want to go back to a time when American schools were full of young doctors and scientist. So in keeping with my sarcasm and independant spirit I make this decleration, I would rather be smart than cool. I would rather be a yummy cherry then an eggplant. Thank you very much.

  1. OK, Mom here!, that's "intelligent", "follow", "idiocracy", and "independent". If you want to be taken seriously, you need to spell correctly! Love you!

  2. Actually, I don't think "idiocracy" is a real word, but if you're going to use a made-up word, then spell it correctly!
